A new SpeedyFinder?

I heard rumours about a version of SpeedyFinder7 that is more recent
than 1.5.4 which is available at sumex. I think it was said that
only registered users received it.

IS THIS TRUE? What are the improvements? I think about registering,
but I won't if the conflict with AutoDoubler was not solved.

If there is such a version, could somebody please summarize the
changes since 1.5.4?

Many thanks,
