Moving EPS files is not always easy. Actually there are some subtle
differences (like EPSF on a MAC is not EPSI on Unix). In the case of Quark
files, I don't know that Quark has made public its specs for output files.
If they did then a Quark Xtension might be able to take a Quark file and
save it as some other kind of file. Also, a PageMaker Addition could read in
a Quark file. Unfortunately, this is probably a doomed exercise since there
are probably some things that a Quark file can have that aren't "realizable"
in other file formats (and vice versa I'm sure).
When importing to Illustrator you have to be sure to Import EPS files and
not just open them.
