Excel chart -> Laserwriter II = truncated text?

 I'm using Excel 4.0 under 7.0.1* and printing to a Laserwriter II (no extra
 letters). When I print a chart, sometimes the title text gets truncated. For
 example, if I'm trying to print the word "Connect," I'll get "Connec."
 Everything appears fine on the screen. Anyone else seen this?
