Important point: Are you using the "Hidden Text" attribute just before the page break or section break? This one bit me in a 130+ page bit of documentation I wrote. Let me tell you, you can waste a LOT of paper trying to figure out what is going on. In my case, I often had figures which appeared at the end of the page. I was using the Index markers to collect figure titles, and of course, they have the hidden-text attribute enabled. That hidden-text attribute was carrying over into the forced-page-break or section-break, causing the page NOT to break. Stupidly, the Word Print Preview shows the page breaks as if they are really going to be there when you print. Solution? Check those page and section breaks for hidden text! There is a way to use FIND/REPLACE to do this for you, but I don't have that info handy. -- | Paul E.
