Ok, here's the latest update on that darn Hell Folder.  For those of you new
to this posting, here's the story:

We have a Mac II, 8MB, 40MB HD, System 7.0.1 w/Tune-Up 1.1.1 and there is a
folder that we cannot delete.  It has the structure:

	HellFolder
	  useless
	    file       <-- file is locked.
	  untitled

Now, when we try to drag this Hellfolder to the trash and empty the trash
we get errors such as "Cannot empty trash because items are in use." or
"Cannot empty trash because items are locked."

We have tried Norton 2.0 and he says the file is invalid.
We have tried MacTools and he says the file doesn't exist.
We tried the option-key empty trash and still no-go.
We have rebuilt the desktop.
We have tried extentions off.
We have scanned for Virus's (Disinfectant & SAM)
We have tried HellFolderFix.
We have tried deleting each file individually.
We have tried creating a folder with the same name and copying it to the
   same place as the old one.   "Cannot copy... file is locked."
I tried stuffit w/delete after archive turned on and it stopped with an
   error "...file locked."

We have tried every utility we have here to unlock that file... nothing will
even recognize it as a file.  If we move the file out of the folders, we
still cant delete the folders because "...contain items still in use."

We are still looking for more ideas.  Thanks to all of you who have responded
so far, we have tried everything ya'll have suggested (even talking the user
into keeping it as a pet...).  Please, keep the ideas coming!
