Hi there. I have a friend in med school who carries a PowerBook 100 around. She'd like to get some helpful tools for her Mac this Christmas. In particular she is looking for a program which can deal with both mathematical symbols & equations and molecular modelling of some sort. Is there any beast like that out there? What is the best math software? How about the best molecular modelling software? How about the cheapest of each? Any archiveware fit the bill? She was also interested in software that included representations of organs and organ systems. Any ideas there? Anything that does not require a CD-ROM? If any of this sets bells ringing, please respond to me via e-mail <efc@mit.edu> since I rarely check in on comp.sys.mac these days. I'll summarize for the list. Thanks! ...Eric MIT Libraries efc@mit.edu -- ------------------------------------------------- Eric Celeste / MIT Libraries / efc@athena.mit.edu -------------------------------------------------
