Anybody know of any PICT viewers that will use CLUTs (Color Look Up
Tables) instead of dithering everything to the current (usually
system) palette (which is always the wrong CLUT for a picture).
	I have converted hundreds of GIFs to JPEG (thanks be to QuickTime!)
compressed PICTs, saving oodles of space. Alas, I can no longer 
view them under 8-bit color, even though they are 8-bit pictures! 
Instead, I can only look at them using 24-bit color (which I have),
but this severely limits the number of pictures I can view 
simultaneously - something like 5 pictures in a 16 meg 
partition instead of something like 80 pictures using the same
amount of RAM under 8-bit color.				
	I need a program that will change the CLUT to that of the 
picture I am currently viewing, just as is done when viewing
GIFs. Without this ability, which was available when viewing the
original GIFs, the program will dither the pictures to the (usually) 
system palette, ignoring the PICT's own CLUT. Such dithering creates 
pictures of vastly inferior quality to the same picture when viewed 
using the correct CLUT or using 24-bit (memory grubbing) color.	
Does anybody know of a program that will let me use a PICT's own CLUT, 
instead of dithering the picture, just as is done with GIF pictures?
