Yes, I have used LogicWorks as a design tool as well as a teaching aid. The
simulation is excellent, even to the extent of picking up static hazards
due to gate delays. Interactive timing diagrams are also available. The
range of devices is extensive and you can encapsulate complex circuits
inside your own graphics as library functions. There is a library of analog
symbols so that it functions well as a circuit drawing tool. Some of the
logic symbols are non-standard (at least in my old version). As a tool for
teaching digital it is without peer. Students were able to build a
simulated CPU identical to the one in their text book (Bartee) and check
the timing diagram of each instruction's execution. PLA and ROM simulation
is also provided. Student editions are available at low cost..check with
Capilano.

To me, LogicWorks rates as the most outstanding software I have used.

There is always SPICE to do the analog simulation but are there any
