Dear Netters, I am looking for a relational database (Mac) and need your advice, especially from those of you with hands on experience. email to: tuttle@linc.cis.upenn.edu. I will post a short summary of your collective wisdom. Some particular requirements we have are: The DBMS should support extensive capabilities for communicating with a HyperCard front end and an MCL (lisp) program (AppleEvents??). The DBMS should be easy enough to use that an end user (not a programmer) could at least set up simple DBs. More complex DBs could have programmer intervention. Reporting facilities should be able to handle complex conditionals in both data extraction and layout format. Multi-user access is not a current priority but will likely be in the future. Ability to export data to PCs (minimum of text). Thanks a bunch. Rich Tuttle
