4D buttons

Hello,
Does anyone know how to make the buttons [active objects] look like
a real object. [ie., toolbox, computer, etc.] I hate having a plain
oval button. I
want to make the buttons look like something like Hypercard or FileMaker
Pro. Is this possible? I was told that anything could be done with 4d.
I'm even willing to try Resedit.

Use a paint program to create an item that looks like the button you want.
Cut the object and paste it onto the layout you are working on. Now create
a highlight button with a script that will perform the action you want. Place
the highlight button over the graphic you created of a button. Resize it
so that it fits over the graphic. I very rarely use the generic buttons
that are available in 4D. I have a graphic library of standard buttons
that I keep in my scrapbook. Works out great every time.
