I don't have an answer, only wanted to indicate that I would be interested in 
the answer too.  Specifically, I'd be interested in hooking up a small LAN at home
to connect my OS/2 Warp machine, my wife's Mac IIcx, an ISDN TA/NT1/Router(?)
and a printer with built-in Ethernet.  So far, we've got the computers and an 
Ethernet card for the PC; I'm holding off purchasing anything else until I
a) have more money :^) and b) have an idea what will actually work.
