As far as I know, the Gold card is still not yet V.90 compliant, it should be a K56 Flex at the moment. I have been checking the Psion website for a V.90 updater in vain. Could it be the wrong initialisation string? I am using FreePPP 2.6.2, and it cannot detect an initialisation string using the auto-detect function. Does anyone have a good initialisation string for this particular modem? Then I can also set up the FAXstf software. Still not as instinctive as the Global Village fax software, IMHO.
