BUT be careful.
Some connectors don't work well.
I used a connector to connect PC Teleport ($50 for PC $169 for the Mac and
it is the same modem with different cable which is soldered to the modem)
and it worked fine with the Mac. I tried the same connector with the PC 9
pin port and it will not send GIF and JPGs. I spent 5 days on the problem
and spoke with GlobalVillage support from GlobalVillage, Microsoft, the BIOS
manufacturer, the Motherboard manufacturer and the PC manufacturer and none
heard about something like this. (All works OK beside sending JPGs and GIF).
AT the end I bought another adapter (The same as the 1st one and it does
work well.)
Both adapter did work well with the Mac, so sometimes a small difference is
adapter can make the system work.
Printers are a different story and most of the PC printers will not work
with a Mac w/o a Mac driver.
Ditto with Scuzi devices, They all work with the Mac, but they have to have
a Mac driver from the original manufacturer.
Monitors work with Mac and PCs/
Hope it helps;

Roy Wagner
