Drop it or something >more "sophisticated?" Get this: I rode my mtn bike to uni most days when I was doing honours last year with my duo in my back pack. no problem. on the days i drove to work i'd take in my briefcase. After getting to work one day I opened my briefcase, pulled out the duo and opened it up to a shattered but still in place display screen. you bastard. but it still works if you plug another monitor into it. need a mini-dock. or you can plug it into a real dock. or you can use it as a portable hard disk in scsi disk mode. but I think I'd rather use my shiny new 5300. i like the 5300. mine has some problems, but I've been living with them until i reckon i've discovered all of them - then i'll take it in and make sure every one of them is fixed. *sound crackles some times. *power manager cant keep track of battery charge which results in instant sleeps because you didnt actually have any power left at *all*. *disk drive is getting file errors on disks that work fine on other macs But I got it for US$1099 while i was in usa. so while i've still got a warranty i'm happy. Michael.
