ok, so what is the comparable PC notebook that is NEW, in the pentium 120 class, has a active matrix 800x600 LCD, sound, and oh by the way, has any_way_near the build quality of the 1400 for less than 2k? Some of us only need a good, moble wp, and email machine for the road. I would suggest that for this application, that the 1400c might be a pretty good deal. Not to mention that the construction, materials, and keyboard are from everything I've read, better than the 3400(not that the 3400 is bad). bart macdude wrote: > In article <621qm2$q5t$1@news3.tufts.edu>, "wpw" > <wpwNOT@NOTbigfoot.com> wrote: > > > Couldn't agree more--the prices should be much lower considering > what new, > > faster PowerBooks are going for.
