The 9.4 update for CodeWarrior Development Studio for Mac OS Version 9
is a maintenance release of the CodeWarrior Development Studio for Mac
OS tools. The 9.4 update includes bug fixes to the C/C++ compiler, MSL,
and IDE. It also contains prior Version 9 updates to the IDE, Debugger,
MSL, Windows Support, PowerPlant, and PowerPlant X. The release notes
contain details for each of these changed components.
Complete release notes can be downloaded from the update page.
This update should only be applied to registered users of: CodeWarrior
Development Studio for Mac OS Version 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, or 9.3
There are two versions of the 9.4 update installer for you to choose
from.
Option one: You can download the full 9.4 update installer here. It is
a complete, self-contained installer containing a complete set of
rebuilt libraries.
Option two: You can download the 9.4 web update installer here. The web
update installer is small and downloads the 9.4 update items from the
Metrowerks ftp server as you need them. You can use the web installer
to update your system without downloading the rebuilt libraries and save
some download time. However, if you elect to not install libraries, you
must manually rebuild the MSL and runtime libraries on your machine
after installing the update.

go to the updates and patches box,
scroll down to
Metrowerks CodeWarrior for Mac OS 9
highlight that and click on select.
If you have caches on your browser you may have to refresh the page.

Just FYI that the 9.4 web updater is linked to 9.3 one.

Hmm...so to update MetroWerks CodeWarrior Development Studio For Mac OS Version 9.4 I have to select MetWorks CodeWarrior for Mac OS 9? For the Mac OS 9, I think you can see why I was confused :) Thanks :) Lyndsey

The reason for this is that a trademark can only be a adjective it can't
so it has to be CodeWarrior for Mac OS.... version 9 it can not be
CodeWarrior v9 for Mac OS.
But yeah it is confusing unless you notice that the previous 4 versions
listed directly above that selection :)

I always hate looking for updates because it takes a while to scroll threw seemingly dozens of products in a tiny list. It would be a lot better to have a Mac OS Downloads page with normal links and short descriptions of each. Larry

The release note 'CW Win x86 Notes 3.2.5.txt' is actually the 3.2.4 version, dated 8 July 2004. Wrong release note? Or shouldn't have been there at all? I'd like to know what has changed before I install it! -- Steve.

One of the future plans is to have a tailored Web site, (it means
registering with Metrowerks ) but once you do only items or articles of
interest to the platform you are working on would be there, unless you
chose to see all.
We also could do a lot by just removing things like BeOS and CW Gold
stuff and put all non-current downloads on a different page
