AppendDialogItemList is exported from DialogsLib (and not AppearanceLib;
this is not a duplication situation). DialogsLib (Dialog Manager 2.0) is
part of Mac OS 8.5 and later. This is probably a documentation error
(although Dialogs.h also says it's part of Appearance 1.0). Or possibly
it was moved from AppearanceLib to DialogsLib, in which case you should
mutter nasty things about Apple under your breath and then import it
manually from whichever lib it is available in. (Modus operandi: try to
get MacDialogsLib with GetSharedLibrary. If you get it, load
AppendDialogItemList with FindSymbol; otherwise, try getting
AppearanceLib and attempt to load AppendDialogItemList with FindSymbol;
if this fails, consider AppendDialogItemList to be unavailable.)
