NEED INPUT - Want to paint my Mac..

I'm just looking for input from people... I want to paint my (tower) Mac,
and my monitor too, if possible...  Can anyone give me some suggestions on
what to do, how to prevent screw ups, etc?  And no letters telling me not
to, it's stupid, etc.. It's something I"ve wanted to do for awhile...
