Read the docs NextLibrary/Documentation/AppleTalk/AdminNotes and NextLibrary/Documentation/AppleTalk/UserNotes These two files will explain how to configure your next to access an AppleTalk network and there by print to a LaserWriter on the network. Things you need. NeXT on EtherNet network, LaserWriteron AppleTalk connected to EtherNet via a Shiva FastPath or similar gateway. Once AppleTalk access is established, open NeXTApps/PrintManager, click on Create, select Cummunications. AppleTalk will be one of the options(if not, you did something wwrong). Now click Chose Printer. You should see a list of nodes available to you. Setect the one that contains the LaserWriter you want to use, and wait about 1 minute while it looks for printers, then click on the printer you want. Christian Smith
