Thank you very much to everybody for answering to a previous posting. How ist it possible to know which database entity is associated with an interface object ? I mean, given for example a TextField I want to know - if it is associated with a database field, - and which field does it represent My idea was 1. find out the dbmodule managing the field 2. find out the rootFetchGroup 3. walk through all associations and find out if an association with the field exist. Unfortunately, it seems that the FetchGroup object only support the following 4 methods - makeAssociationFrom:to: - takeValueFromAssociation: - addAssociation: - removeAssociation: Could someone on help me. Thank you very much in advance Massimo Arnoldi, Via Vignascia, 6982 Serocca d'Agno, Switzerland Tel: +4191 595539 E-mail: massimo@cello.open.ch (NeXT) NeXT Registered Developer
