Mr. Arzt,

    Since you placed your order quite early on, your statement is quite  
understandable, and your long tried patience is quite greatly appreciated.  At  
least you may take heart, realizing that quite some time ago, at your request,  
we faxed an office on your campus WITH the *even then* operable send software.   
At the time, of course, we were still voluminously logging everything it was  
doing on EVERY connection, not a feature to be included at *that* level of  
detail for production.
  
    As I've mentioned in several posts this evening, we are now working on  
compensation for transmission errors on RECEIVED faxes.  Data handling is  
completed.  Sending and receiving faxes are frozen, except for this ``cleanup''  
of data containing transmission errors.  The installation/configuration tool  
(Next-Interface ..app) is being kept open for theh ``H''/``J'' revision ROMs  
until the last moment.  Package/printed documentation/labeling for initial  
shipment is completed with the exception of the at-ship insertion, which for  
initial shipments is planned to be Next-Printer printed.
  
    We apologize for missed estimates given hesitantly to you, personally.
