The Pro Lexis Spelling Checker and Dictionaries (Grammar & Proper Nouns) 
reach 486k decompressed (300k is the Mac version).
Please note that this is a Grammar Dictionary not a Dictionary of
Definitions. Pro Lexis contains 500,000 words (comparable to 
the Medium Robert Dictionary). 
Roger Rainero from Diagonal (a French developer) 
and his crew have been working on this product for over 2 years which 
resulted in a new patented technology called "rSg" (Radical - Suffix - Grammar) 
For the time being, Pro Lexis is fully functional in 
WriteNow and WordPerfect only (on the NeXT).
But the dictionaries (in passive mode) can be accessed 
through the Services Menu from most apps (Concurrence, 
Diagram, FrameMaker, etc.)
Pro Lexis checks French spelling at a speed of 6,000 words 
per second on NeXTStations and NeXTCubes (8,000 words 
per second on NeXT Turbos) and offers full conjugations of 
verbs in all forms and tenses. If you are still skeptical as
to the authenticity of these features, you can obtain a demo from the 
NeXT CD-ROM  "Third Party Demonstration Software Q-2 1992".

By the way I have checked the size of my Webster-Dictionary
located in NextLibrary/References. Its size is 42.4 MB and the 
Webster-Thesaurus is 3.24 MB. This might be due to all those
TIFF images and definitions... I don't really know.
