Following Steve's example I built emacs-18.59 (using remotely mounted
sources to save disk space) including X-window support and am happy to
report that xemacs works fine both under co-Xist (3.0 beta) and
remotely via SLIP. Only lacking feature is highlighted copy-paste,
like the Huge HP-gnu-emacs (so far -- hope to get it to work some
time). It works fine with many of the emacs-19 features dumped in,
such as ange-ftp, tree-dired, and allows you to run scheme/lisp
subprocesses.

Suggestion to NeXT: compile it and put it on the archives as a
substitute for 18.55.121.
