I have newly bought a color slab and want to use <Alternate> as my META key in Emacs except for <Alt>- and <Alt>/ which I want mapped to | and \ respectively. I can remap those keys with Keyboard.app or set Stuart2.4 to use <Alternate> as my META key, but I want BOTH at the same time. I do not want to use <ESC> as my meta key, or give up any normal ASCII mapping on the main (left) part of the keyboard. If I could map my keys to be multiple keystrokes, then I could map most of my <Alt> characters to be the normal character prepended with an <ESC> except for <Alt>- and <Alt>\. Can anyone help me on this? Maybe I'm missing something in the FAQ's or a utility to do this from an ftp site. Any info is appreciated.
