I've just intalled NeXTSTEP 3.0 on a NeXTstation Color and have noticed
two interesting things. After a while I started having the floppy disk
eject problems that many are reporting. After some detective work it
turned out that Stuart 2.4 was causing the problem, but only if I
autolaunched it. The second thing I've noticed is that KPerfMon
autolaunches fine, but after a few minutes it just stops. If I
relaunch it, everything is just fine.

BTW just to let inquiring minds know, both the Sun CD-ROM drive
(Sony Mechanism) and the HP CD-ROM drive (Toshiba Mechanism)
worked just fine with both the NeXTSTEP 3.0 CD and with audio
CDs.
