Does anyone known why or how to fix the problem that windows do not stay
put when relaunching an app. I have a cube with two monitors and leave a
lot of informational windows, eg console, outgoing mail and addresses on
the B&W. Under 2.1, once they were put there they reappeared in the same
location when the app was relaunched, or I logged out and back in(which I
do frequently going to root to fix things). Now they all come back on the
ND sreeen and have to be repositioned every time. ~/.NeXT/.defaultsL is
too much of a mess to dig through to actually try and see what is going
on. Is this just a feature of 3.0? Bob
