Hi, (Extensive flaming of the Mma registration process deleted.) Well I just got my upgrade to 2.1 and I am trying to install it. When I run the MathInstaller program (the 2nd part of the installation process) I get an error associated with the mathpass file. In the installation process window I can see that it checks my machine name properly but then gives and error: BADMATHPASS. A panel tells me to check my dump screen for details. In the Console I read, "Checking password file mathpass: No password found. See installation instructions on how to set up your mathpass file." I checked my mathpass file and all the info. is there ie. machine mame, mathid, license #, password. So I don't see what the problem is. Does the password change for the upgraded version? The Temporary License Certificate did not have a new password so I assumed I should use the old one. The program said it was OK when it asked for it. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
