Pascal Gaudette writes > Before people start wondering: no. NeXT doesn't ship online docs > in any other language than english. Does NeXT ship a complete set of printed docs in any other language but english? To my knowledge, and last scanning of the product list, no. Some documentation (like the 3.0 Release Notes and Upgrade instructions) is shipped in languages other than english, and that's part of fulfilling the promise of being able to compute in 7 different languages. But for the bulk of the documentation needed to operate and program with the NeXT, such as the User's Reference, System Administration guide and other operational and user manuals, it's still an english-only situation. Living up to the promise of operating in 7 languages is not impossible to do with a NeXT. Given the current situation, the promise should never have been made to begin with. -- -- Jeff (jeffo@uiuc.edu) -- NeXTmail ok
