This is probably really idiotic:

People keep recommending zmodem to me.  Can someone tell me
how to use it?  I've downloaded the source from sonata,
and compiled it, and I can't figure out what to do.
Do I need special communications software?  I have
been using kermit, but I kind of doubt I can get it
to use the zmodem protocol.

This brings me to my other question.  What communication software
do people recommend.  Is Microphone II pretty good?
