I am interested in finding out what kinds of software people enjoy using on the
CD-ROM format. Thus, I would like to take an informal-survey and post my
findings here on the net. I believe that if you take the time to tell me a
little bit about what kinds of products that you find useful, enjoy on CD-ROM
that it could conceivably help us all... both developers and end-users.

Please feel free to write anything you would like in reply to me. I would
appreciate anything that you have to say. If you need some inspiration,
however, I would like to suggest responding on the following topics:

Have you seen any useful/fun CD-ROM products? Why have they been useful or
fun?

What areas of the market do you feel are lacking in terms of good CD-ROM
software? Business? Education? Software tools? Games? Graphics? Digital
Video? Sounds? Desktop Publishing? Spreadsheets? Fonts? Word Processors?
Utilities? <-- (Hmm CD-ROM based utilities... are there any?) digital books?
digital magazines? source code archives?

What types of CD-ROMs do you usually buy? (See above list for possible
categories?) Could I possibly ask you to name your favorite product in
this/these categories? If not, it's okay, really!

Hmmm... that seems like about all for now. I would really appreciate any
responses that you can give. Could you possibly give me an indication of what
it is that you do or why that you like/want the CD-ROM products that you
mention?

thanks much, :-)

p.s.- I am doing this because I have a product in the works! :-) Any info you
can give me about your likes or dislikes of CD-ROM will be most helpful. I
will post a synopsis of your replies!
