I don't know about WordPerfect; however, I've been assured by MathWorks sales types that NeXT MATLAB is on the to-do list "after MATLAB 4.0 goes out the door". Although I'm looking forward to it, I don't expect a released version before NeXT Summer. (Which is a purely outta-da-butt opinion from a guy who can no longer spell "next" without at least hitting the shift keys--so take my schedule estimate for what it's worth.) IMHO, it is terrible that I have to go to my Mac Powerbook to run MATLAB; maybe this freshly released Simulation Kit will fill in some of the holes--any opinions? In any case, it is disappointing that NeXTWorld doesn't think that workstation-class tools (e.g., MATLAB, MATRIXx, Xmath) rates a spot on their "10 Most Wanted" list. The NeXT is the greatest thing since sliced bread (maybe even breadmakers!) but it is a tough sell in a research & development organization when it lacks the fundamental software tools! As the phrase goes, "...grumble, mutter...." As you can tell, I'm EAGERLY awaiting a MATLAB-equivalent for the NeXT!
