Hi, I don't recall anyone mentioning this but Diagram! does not launch under 3.0. It starts to but then disappears similar to Icon.app. So, I thought, that's okay. Karl Kraft did this funky hack to Icon and it worked. I tried it but no dice, Diagram just gets farther along before fading into oblivion. I had to dig into the program file to even find the bug report address for them. ( If you have a bug report/comment item on a menu, how do you expect the user to use it when the menu never comes up? Put an address in the rtf online docs? Too easy! :-) ) The bottom line is: I need to generate a flow chart by Friday!! Usually a 5 minute job with Diagram! but now what do I do? Any help is ( will be?) greatly appreciated. -- Morgan D. In Preferences, set your system and application fonts to "Helvetica Medium 12 point" and your Bold system font to "Helvetica Bold 12 point" and Diagram! should work okay. Simply put, using any other fonts than what 2.x used for any of the functions settable in Preferences 3.0 will make Diagram! crash. The folks who made Diagram! addressed this publicly on the net a while back and they do realize it's a problem. -- -- Jeff (jeffo@uiuc.edu) -- NeXTmail welcome
