Return address in Sendmail

I know everybody is probably sick of sendmail questions, but this one I just  
can't seem to get right.

With 2.1 I was finally able to get my return address to read  
dean@thrall.wa.com; not quite what I wanted ,but better than nothing (really  
should be dean@thrall.com. Anyway after upgrading the address shows up as  
thrall!dean@nwnexus.wa.com (a uucp connection). So the question is how do I  
force sendmail to use the dean@thrall.com?

Any help is appreciated.
