O.K. Here's the problem: Our boss has informed us that he would like, please, an idea of usage on a 15-NeXT cluster, including when people are logged on, what they're using, etc. For the entire 19 hours a day the site is open. Joy. Rapture. Now, the question. Anyone know of any programs, shell scripts, hacks, or suchlike that will permit us to do this without doing w to file and awk-correlating every week? Help (or pre-existing w+awk scripts) (or scripts of *anything* that would work, for that matter) would be greatly appreciated. Steven E. Schwartz ses3@amber.uchicago.edu
