give it a rest, ok, glenn?

after you've installed the font in /LocalLibrary/Fonts or ~/Library/Fonts,
run both /usr/bin/buildafmdir and /usr/bin/cacheAFMData.  this has worked
flawlessly for me, but your milage may vary.
