Since 2 days ago, I have a 1/4" wide strip going along the center of
my page (lengthwise). Towards the end of the page, one can recognize
characters that were printed in the middle of the page. It looks like
some unit is dirty.
Would anyone happen to know off hand which unit it is and how I can
clean it? I've printed about 3700 pages with this cartridge and the
print quality has gotten lighter. If the solution is to put in a new
cartridge, would you happen to know whether the old one can be
refurbished (it's the first 3700 pages on it) or whether it has
permanently decided to add the black tone to the page as its personal
note?
Thanks,
Axel
P.s. It's NeXT's 400dpi laserprinter (and the first time ever I have
a problem with it)
