This morning I started up NewsGrazer as I have every weekday for the past eight months, and it got to the point where the status bar says it is reading my active newsgroups, and then quits completely without any messages at all! I am posting this via rn, which I built so that I may read mail from home. It and NewsGrazer have coexisted on my machine without any problems for six months. The only clue I have is that I always get a message listing newsgroups that have been "found again in active list" -- but I have always gotten this, and it seems to be due to the threading program I use with trn--but again, I have never had a problem before. I checked to see if that wierd group with the ":" in the name was in my .newsrc, and I could not find it there, so I have no clue. I tried reducing the number of subscribed groups, and that did not help. Gdb gave me no clues, since there are no symbols in the executable. Please respond via email, since news isnt much fun with rn.
