We had the same problem here.

NewsGrazer barfs on newsgroups with more than 10 components to their names.   
Someone created groups named  
"alt.pop.will.eat.itself.the.poppies.are.on.patrol" and  
"alt.pop.will.eat.itself.X.Y.and.Z.electrix.sunshine.mix" (or something like  
that).

Either of these will give NG a segmentation fault.

Have your sysadmin delete the offending groups.  Although people at NeXT have  
fixed the problem, they are not allowed to release it due to "new company  
policy".
