This is an annoying bug, I hope it's been fixed in 3.0. Also, has anyone else had problems changing the mode on their tty? Sometimes when I'm on the console and I open up multiple terminal windows, the one that goes with ttyp2 sometimes balks at the "mesg n" in my login script, complaining that I don't own the tty so I can't change it's mode. I've had this happen under different terminals so I don't think the terminal program I'm using is at fault. It's very weird in that it doesn't happen all the time, or with any pattern that I've noticed. I thought that if the tty worked once, it would work all the time, for anyone as it should. -- -- Jeff (jeffo@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu) -- No NeXTmail please
