How does the next maintain swap files? There is no entry in fstab for it (or for my second hard drive, and internal 105 quantum). There is an entry for my boot drive. I am assuming that the internal drive is mounted automatically by a non-standard method. I have seen the swapfile in /private/vm, and have wondered if it is possible to either physically relocate it to the internal drive or to use a symbolic link instead. I would also like to override whatever automounting is taking place and make sure that on boot up the internal (non-boot drive) is mounted automatically. Can I manage the disks without using nextstep utilities? Thanks, John Rutherford
