I've been trying to connect my home NeXT (no network) to my work NeXT (on a subnet) using TranSys Dialup-IP. I'm having difficulty with the routing, netmasking and broadcast aspects. The modems are working fine and the login to bring up SLIP works fine but, no packets are ever moved. None of the log files indicate that errors are occurring. I need someone comfortable with IP routing and SLIP to help me set this up. I emailed nextcomm@carrara.bos.marble.com with log file exerpts and ifconfig info but have not received any reply. Yes, its an ugly (murky?) subject, but, I think with just a little tweaking it'll work. If you have time and think you could help please contact me.
