Hi,

  I have set up a NetWare 3.11 network at home. Because I have 3 window's 95
client. I have use the add name space (OS2.nlm) in the server. I am just
wondering does this operation take a lot of memory and disk space?? My
server is just a 486SX/33 with 16 MB of RAM with 800MB of hard disk space.
However, because it is home use, so I only have 4 clients.

Also, is 3.11 REALLY need to be upgraded to 3.2 ??

It does take some harddisk space, but this is usually an amount
low in megabytes. On my NW4.11 server it took 5MB of HD space
for a moderately filled 2GB partition. It is also using some
memory, however I really don't know how much. But my NW4.11
server also only runs with an 486SX33 and 16megs of RAM, and
it serves a maximum of 5 clients simultaneously without probs.

For Y2K compliancy, YES.

Fenton,
    The formula is: .032 x Volume_Size(MB) / Block_Size(KB). This will give
you the additional RAM requirements for name space support. HTH...
