Hey, we have Novell 4.1 running and have installed in our EISA computer 64 MB ram. But in the monitor program of NOVELL (load monitor) under Resource Utilization we see as working memory only 32 MB. We have set the option above16 to ON. If we start the computer you can see counting bios to 64 MB. How can we use the full 64 MB on the NOVELL 4.1 server. Please mail me your informations ! Thanks a lot, Oliver -- NAME : O.Kretzschmar Inst.IKE / University Stuttgart PHONE: +49 711 685 2130 Pfaffenwaldring 31 FAX : +49 711 685 2010 7000 Stuttgart 80 EMAIL: kretzschmar@ike.uni-stuttgart.de

You need to go to your EISA system configuration and change your RAM configuration from 32 megs to 64 megs. Remeber setting your RAM in EISA conguration and your CMOS are two different things. Good luck. -- Iraj T iraj2@ix.netcom.com

Type MEMORY at the colon prompt and see if it also says you only have 32MB. You may need to add a line to your AUTOEXEC.NCF or STARTUP.NCF to REGISTER MEMORY... fabt2291@ikesg1.energietechnik.uni-stuttgart.de (Oliver Kretzschmar) wrote: >Hey, >we have Novell 4.1 running and have installed in our EISA computer 64 MB ram. >But in the monitor program of NOVELL (load monitor) under Resource Utilization >we see as working memory only 32 MB.
