Is the 32532 CPU still as expensive as it used to be? It would be convenient to put the same CPU on the et532 as on the pc532. Then it would be possible to run the same operating system on both boards. Also in case someone that doesn't yet have a pc532 would like to have one, he could build an et532 without building a pc532. Personally I plan to use a decstation as my ethernet card but wouldn't mind an et532 if it's not too expensive (which I guess it'll be). The main difficulty is anyway going to be to make scsi work well enough to communicate between the different boards. Assuming the et532's scsi interface is as horrible the pc532's it's not going to be easy. In case et532 is going to be built I hope it has a nice ethernet chip and not a collection of kludges like the dp8490 is. Johannes
