No, you've got that wrong. 68020s, 68030s and 68040 all have MMU's. Its _FPUs_ that are not on all of these chips. 68020s don't have them, 68030s have to have them as a co-processor and the 68lc040 (like the 80486sx) don't have them, although the 68rc040s do. Heck, the Connection Machine (a hugh parallel processor) was built using 68020s. S. Johnson
