Actually, I just got through upgrading to Slackware 2.3 a few minutes ago,
and it seems to have a lot of new niceities, like a new version of Minicom,
that I'm using to type this, and of course updates everywhere else, like
gcc 2.6.3 (been using 2.5.8) and some other things I havn't installed yet,
like X11R6.
As much as I like NT, I'm still pretty much of a Linux-head, since I've been
playing with it since kernel .99pl15...

It's a great learning tool, IMO.

YMMV. I think it's a superb os.
