He's not referring to software that has been modified to run natively on a
Power Mac.  He's referring to software that takes advantage of the speed
increases available by the PPC processors which were not possible on the
68K processors.  

For example - A CAD program that was unable to run on 68K processors
because it was to slow, but now is available because of the PPC processor.
