I disagree.  Cmdre's mistake was that they *counted* on taking over the
market.  The only way a low-cost system can possibly support a 1billion
dollar company is if a *lot* of machines are sold.  In the end, they
never bothered to do the numbers -- they weren't capable of making the
number of machines that they needed to sell in order to stay afloat.

Be is fortunate in that it doesn't have several hundreds of millions of
dollars worth of overhead.
