Well, AFAIK you can only get that much swap under Windows if you use
a temporary swapfile rather than a permanent. Performance in that case
is bound to be lousy.

Also, running out of swap with a temporary swapfile simply means that you
run out of diskspace. Which really isn't the OSs fault, but yours. You can't
expect the OS to put 350 Megs of swap on a disk with 10 Megs free/

So, either this is talking about a Mac (does the Mac have Norton Utilities?),
or you are doing something very very wrong.
