The better designed one, of course.  Fortunately, for Apple and Microsoft,
the users don't know this :-)  

A system which crashes and freezes frequently is definitely not in the
users best interests!  That is, excepting the users with masochistical
inclinations :-)

P.S.  NT is actually a mixture of user driven and technology driven.
The net result is that it failed to convince both Joe User's and 
computer literate users :-)
